Mati Sipiora
Portfolio website for a metal furniture artist.
About project
I designed and developed a fully responsive website in Framer for Mati Sipiora, a Polish designer specializing in handcrafted metal furniture. This project was created as the final assignment for the “Framer Skills” course organized by KLIKA under the mentorship of Tom Biskup.

Problem
The challenge was to create a portfolio and product experience that reflected the raw character of handcrafted metal furniture while still feeling clean, modern, and easy to navigate. The website needed to present both Mati Sipiora’s artistic identity and his commercial product offering in a cohesive way. The previous direction lacked structure and visual consistency, so the goal was to build a system that balanced brutalist aesthetics with usability and clarity.

Process
I designed and developed the website in Framer, focusing on a cold, industrial visual language inspired by metal surfaces, workshop environments, and brutalist design principles. The entire layout was built around a structured grid system to maintain rhythm, alignment, and consistency across all pages and components.
The project included:
an artist introduction section,
product series presentations,
a scrolling ticker showcasing completed projects,
a searchable product catalog,
dedicated product pages,
inquiry forms designed to simplify client communication.
Throughout the process, I aimed to combine strong typography, rigid spacing, and some micro-interactions to reinforce the material identity of the brand while keeping the experience intuitive and scalable.

Outcome
The final result is a visually distinctive website that communicates the craftsmanship and industrial character behind Mati Sipiora’s work. The grid-based structure created a consistent visual system across the entire experience, while the custom product architecture and search functionality improved usability and content organization.
As a digital designer, I learned a lot throughout the course - from creating interactive 3D elements and polished micro-interactions to improving SEO and working with integrations. The experience helped me expand both my technical and creative approach to building modern web experiences in Framer.
